Slow Cooker Pheasant Chili

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 6 hours

2-3lb package pheasant breasts
12 oz can chopped tomatoes
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed 2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 green peppers, diced
1 jalapeno, chopped fine
1⁄4 cup tomato paste
4 T cumin
4 T chili powder
2 t salt (more to taste)
1t cayenne pepper
1t smoked paprika
4c water

Place all ingredients in slow cooker, cook on low 6­8 hours. Before serving, remove pheasant and shred with two forks.

Yield: 9 servings
