Hours are Mon - Fri from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Come see for yourself our vast array of pheasant meat products and game meats, take a video tour of the farm and visit with our office staff to learn more about our farm.
· Imagine what a nice surprise a gift of whole pheasant or smoked pheasant would make for the holidays, a birthday or anniversary! Request a special note and we’ll send that with a recipe card to assure your gift is enjoyed. Plan carefully for holiday deadlines or simply place your orders two weeks in advance of when you want it to be received to ensure your gift arrives on a timely basis.

Chef of the Month
Our Chef for August is from the Big Sky country of Montana, where he's worked for over 25 years. Chef Chuck Schommer's laid back style has earned him accolades from his peers locally as well as nationally. And his sense of humor is appreciated by all who work with and for him. Chef Chuck was gracious enough to share two of his favorite pheasant recipes with us this month, which often grace his menu of deliciously prepared game meats. These recipes will have you smacking your lips in anticipation so be sure to visit the Recipes link after reading Chef Chuck’s biography. Congratulations to Chef Chuck and keep up the great work!
Chuck began his culinary career as a student in his mom’s kitchen in Minnesota at a very young age. “I taught him everything he knows,” she has often said. His dad knows better and he is the one who introduced him to the smoker and sausage stuffer which are two of Chuck’s favorite pieces of equipment in the kitchen. Chuck graduated from Culinary School in 1980 and in 1982 moved west. Leaving his family and friends behind, he joined the kitchen staff of Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky where he worked for several seasons. Wanting to learn more, Chef Schommer was hired as the Chef at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch in the desert of Arizona.
